From 14th–18th September, we’re proud to support Professional Care Workers’ Week, organised by The Care Workers’ Charity.
It’s a chance to recognise the people working across adult social care and celebrate the difference they make every day. Working in care takes skill, patience, compassion and commitment, and this week is an opportunity to shine a light on the people behind the work.
Now in its ninth year, Professional Care Workers’ Week will bring together Care Professionals, care managers, sector leaders and others from across the industry. The programme includes free virtual panels and information sessions, alongside in-person events, giving Care Professionals the opportunity to learn, connect and have their voices heard.
There’s a wide range of topics being covered throughout the week, including career development, pay and employment rights, wellbeing, technology, inclusion and the future of care. Sessions are led by care workers, sector experts and other voices from across adult social care.
The Care Professional Academy are proud to support The Care Workers’ Charity. Backing the people who work in adult social care is at the heart of what we do at the CPA, and we’re pleased to play a small part in helping Care Professionals access the resources, guidance and assistance they need, both at work and beyond.
